How we got here

On his first trip to Vietnam, Chew found the 2 great loves of his life: the woman who would later become his wife, and grill pork rice noodle salad, or “bún thịt nướng”.

While more popularly known for its beef noodle soup “phở” and baguette sandwich “bánh mì”, to Chew it is “bún thịt nướng” that epitomes the heart and soul of Vietnamese cuisine: a chaotic balance of savory and sweet tastes with crunchy textures and refreshing, tangy flavours that combines wonderfully into an unforgettable sensory experience.

Since then, Chew has been harbouring the dream of bringing this dish to an even greater audience, so that more people can experience and enjoy it just as much as he does.

And with that, the concept of Qwang was born.
